About Us

San Marcos Wholesale Flowers is family owned and operated. Rick grew up in the floral industry learning from his father, Mickey Ivicevic, since he was 10 years old. In 1981, he started growing his own flowers and by 1989 started packing and shipping across the US. Rick is semi-retired, but still comes in every day, walks the ranch and maintains quality control. Lisa manned the office while the kids were in school fulltime, now she’s taken on the role of grandma to their 9 grandchildren. Like Rick, Rickey has been around the floral industry his whole life. He grew up helping during the holidays and summer. In 2004, Rickey joined the team full-time. He is currently our General Manager and the lead salesman/buyer. Melissa, their oldest came on board in 2021 to help answer phones. She’s now managing operations and our social media platforms. Domingo, our ranch foreman, has been with us since 1999. All of our employees are like family to us.
